About us

Tromsø Lapland is a small, family owned company founded by Per Stian in 2009. Per Stian had already been working with reindeers all his life, as he comes from one of the last northern-Sami communities from Norway. With this project, Per Stian would like to support and spread the word about his beautiful heritage so that it will keep on thriving with the next generation.

We Sámi are the indigenous people of Scandinavia and have been living and working with reindeers for centuries. We have countless generations of knowledge and experience of the fascinating and charming creature that has helped us survive life in this cold and extreme nature of the north. The reindeer is the true hero of the Arctic.
